Spot Elevation in floor plan

Spot Elevation in floor plan

In a multi-layer ceiling the height of the structure layer should be provided in the floor plan with a spot elevation as it is possible in a section view.

Hi Everyone,  The Factor would like to get some additional comments on this idea so that we better understand the request.  One way you can help is to add use cases for this functionality or examples of documents that show this information that you need to create today.  Also, are their other cases like this that you would expect to also work?  Thanks for your help.

In a floor plan one could see the heigt of the floor finish in relation to

the concrete ceiling or the other way around. On the actual construction site craftsmen won't

necessarily look things up in the section view aswell. So having all Information in just one plan would be really helpful.

This is very good idea.

System famillies such as spot elevations for the heights on the layer core of the elements such as roofs, floor, ceilings so we can measure the core height of the element in our plans.

This option is very useful for German standard because according to the standard Architects must show in the plans height of finish floor and as well the height of concrete slab(in this case of the core of this concrete in multylayer floor, roof or ceilling).

Thank you...

The issue is when creating a spot elevation (let’s say for ceilings, but in general also for MEP services) it shows the reference to the level or absolute elevation. These are the only 2 possible options.

We need to show elevation from the finish floor level.

The question is, can you create a new elevation spot elevation that recognizes custom element such as ARC floor or the room?

Create additional levels on a project as a workaround is not feasible.

Is anyone nowadays using another workaround? Dynamo maybe? Additional shared parameters/formulas?
