Smart Pasting Across View Scales

It would be nice if the Pasting tool was smart enough to know when changing scales. Maybe there is another pull-down option called "Paste to Current Scale"?

This would allow the text (and legend components) from a 1/8" scale to paste into a 1/4" scale view while keeping their spacing. Currently they're spaced out. It become difficult for a legend to change scale when the view it supports changes scale.

Thanks for taking the time to submit your idea. Unfortunately, this idea did not get the support of the community over the last 6 months and as such we will not be pursuing it at this time. Please feel free to rework (titles and clear descriptions are really important) and resubmit this one down the road.
