± Sign for 0.00 Elevation

± Sign for 0.00 Elevation

For positive elevation there is the "+" sign, for negative the "-" sign, could we have also "±" sign for 0 elevation?

Zero should not have sign.

± Means more or less, or a mathematical expresion to replace the operation for plus or minus signs. But not that the number is positive and negative a the same time.

"±" sign is a common use in many markets. Here an example from the swiss norm SIA 400.

@samuelsanf : Plus-minus is an architectural convention, not a number. It marks the limit between the infrastructure and the superstructure of a building.

@victor_vijeuKD42L the Video you posted is a good trick but it doesn't help with the spot elevation.
