Shared Parameters Bulk Use, Delete, and Edit

Shared Parameters Bulk Use, Delete, and Edit

Shared Parameter Files are a one by one click fest that is both time burning and money wasting. This could be made into a quick and easy task with the following:

1. DELETE Shared Parameters in BULK using (Shift or CTRL Key) - The way most any program works like windows explorer.

2. EDIT Shared Parameter Files in bulk in a a menu window with two panels. The selected (Shift or CTRL Key) replace with one to the other.

3. ADD multiple new parameters to the Shared Parameter File in one window. Not one by one. If you are creating all Shared and Type; you should be doing this as one working view. Do this bulk.

4. MOVE Parameters Up and Down in BULK and by simply dragging them up and down. (Shift or CTRL) and drag where you want them.

5. EDIT Parameter Properties easily. Parameter Type:, Parameter Data; Name:, Discipline:, Type of Parameter:, Group parameter under:, Tooltip description:. These should all be easy to change and not grayed out. Maybe a voltage changed to current or you have something that needs common text?

6. APPLY Shared Parameters to .rfa files in bulk. You should be able to select many .rfa files at once and run an apply to and replace parameters to all selected. (CTRL or SHIFT) and select a bulk of families to apply your new parameters to.

Summary: Using Shared Parameters should be quick and easy with way less tedious clicking.

Also in late 2022

Would also add:
7. EXPORT shared parameters in bulk from the shared parameters window menu, instead of opening each individual shared parameter to export...
