In plan views, solar study do not take into account the topography / toposolid for the shadow projection. Instead one has to set up the level the shading will be projected on "Ground Plane at Level". In hilly sites, this can be quite different if one uses Datum or Ground Level. The latest is obviously never flat. Therefore Shadows end up longer than they should be, while using Datum can make them shorter than they should be. Can programmer please remove the "Ground Plane at Level" box and ensure the shadows in Revit do read the topography?
