Set section perpendicular.

Set section perpendicular.

Good evening

I like to see that the section can be rotated after it is placed by select the section and choose perpendicular or parallel to an object

This because when its not 100% perpendicular i can not dimension the object in the section.

you are right man! Not Only Dimension Even Grids will not Appear in Sections.  Autodesk should think about on this issue it will help full for coordination also it Reduce more coordination Time weather its perpendicular or align to any object elements!

Aaaaaamen! This is such a frustration! Same goes for Elevations.

There are a few ways to rotate a section. The most common one is by using the rotate command and snapping to the tail endpoint. As you rotate, Revit will snap to perpendicular alignment to the wall. Here I made a screencast about this: https://autode.sk/2s8nw24

However, you need to be aware of this new thing in 2019, where Revit no longer have a problem creating dimensions on non-perp. sections, but this introduces a new problem, which is Revit allowing you dimension non-perp. sections!!!

Please make it easy to have perpendicular sections through snapping. A use case is the below picture.
