Selection filter by properties

Selection filter by properties

Ruled-base filter of selected elements by properties, families and types (not only by category).

Some times I want to select varius families of one category, and the only options I have do a select all in a fist family, then select the others manually or, do a filter by category and then unselect unwanted objects. In other occations I want to select, for example, all walls withing a specifict length or height and thats is imposible to do practically, so you have to make a table with filters to do that selections.

I've hit this issue also. One possible workaround might be to use Temporary View Properties then create Filters, but view Filters are easier to use for EXclusion, not INclusion, and often times you want to see other elements once you have your selection (although for that 2nd issue I often use the 3D view for selection, then another view to perform the operation anyway).

It would also be helpful to be able to "Select All Instances" on multiple elements:

(the two above should be combined; one is the OP's)
