While working in a View or when a view is selected on a sheet, have a right click menu item to "Show in Browser" - this would expand the project browser and highlight the selected view. Very useful when your project has 1000's of views and hundreds of sheets and quicker that copying the name and doing a search in the project browser.
Hi all, I saw a couple of people were posting about how they would like to jump to a view quicker than having to constantly scroll to a project browser.
I created a plugin that does that and it remembers your 20 most recent views. You can keep it open on the side while you're working away.
Add a "Go to View/Legend/Schedule in Project Browser" function to the right-click context menu of Views, Legends, & Schedules whilst in a sheet view. Would be useful to have this as it would allow users to quickly find the associated view in the project browser from a sheet, and expand all the relevant filters as defined in Browser Organisation.
While you can right mouse click objects and find them in browser, you cannot do that with the white background of any view currently open. Would have helped me to have that a minute finding my way around a huge 3rd party made model. The idea is to include whatever is currently showing inside the properties window for the context menu. If that something is not included in the project browser, well that is another idea.
@MiWolff, you're saying to find a view in the project browser to use the rt click and "Find in Project Browser" option? That's available today. If you're in a sheet, just select on the view, then rt click and go. If you're in a view, rt click on an empty space and go. I use it frequently.
@Ric_Weber@kimberly_fuhrman-jones I meant what I wrote and it seems it is implemented. Was probably stuck on a Revit 2019 project when posting. Given that even the wording of the now implemented idea is similar to mine, I wonder why this was not automatically suggested to me when I wrote mine. Sorry to bother you all.
