recently the company I work for switched from using autocad to using revit for architectural drawings. we had a linetype standard set up for the base file in autocad that we would send to MEP. the problem is that MEP still uses autocad, so when we send them an exported autocad file, it's a lengthy process to redo all of the layers to the autocad standard we had set up. I know we could take the time to set up the each layer manually in revit, but is there a shortcut to export revit to cad and match our linetypes? sometimes we'll have to draw in lines on the revit file, in which I can match the linetype imported from the cad file, but it doesn't export the same way it came in.
