In Civil3d, a terrain can be exported as xml, which can be imported into Revit via the Site Designer
Advantage:
- the terrain can be modified on at will
- The terrain can be duplicated for a subsequent phase using the function "Calibrated terrain".
Disadvantage:
- with xml-import apparently only the information of the points is imported, while the information about the break edges is lost. This means that the terrain has to be reworked at great expense.
Suggestion for improvement:
- during the import also the information about the break edges would have to be considered
