When you edit a parameter inside a schedule, hitting enter or cursor down does not bring you to the next row but the one below the next. If you end editing with hitting the cursor up key gets you to the row above as expected.
It seems that Revit resolves sorting the edited entry to whatever the schedule is set to and then counts the key press as though it had been hit in the line that filled the gap.
