I wanted to bring up a feature that I think would be incredibly useful in Revit, already available in AutoCAD. In AutoCAD, adding hatch patterns and custom line types is very straightforward, which many users, especially those in countries like Czechia, Slovakia, and other Slavic regions, rely on for infrastructure projects.
In Revit, while we can add hatch patterns, we don't have the same ease of importing custom line types. It would be great if Revit had an import button for line types, similar to the one we have for patterns. This would allow users to upload .lin or .patt files and select the appropriate line type for their projects.
I believe this feature should have been implemented long ago, and it would be a valuable addition to the Revit product suite. It would make the transition from AutoCAD to Revit smoother for many users and enhance Revit's functionality overall.
