remove 'Up to level:' from Walls' Top Constraint

remove 'Up to level:' from Walls' Top Constraint

"Up to level: " is added as a prefix to all Level names in the "Top Constraint" pull-down (for the Wall parameter): WISH_Walls - remove 'Up to level' from Top Constraint (cropped).png

This is completely unnecessary and takes up space (requiring you to hover over it to see the full name, or widen the properties). It adds no information - we understand that Structural Columns go "Up to..." the Level specified by the "Top Level" property, why does the extra text have  to be there for Walls?

And the fact that they're called "Constraint" vs "Level" is fodder for a separate wish...

Agree with this.

The higher versions of Revit still include the “Up to Level” prefix in the wall schedule. As a result, we need to use an additional shared parameter to capture the clean level value. This creates extra work and may increase the risk of human error.

We suggest that Autodesk review this and either remove the prefix or provide a flexible option to turn it on or off.
