Reference Planes are useful for many things, and they work across any 3D view, but they can also leave your 3D views a mess if you don't spend a lot of time naming and filtering them in all other views where you don't want to show.
A far simpler approach would be for Reference Lines to be used and only be visible in a given view -- but at present they can only be used in 2D views and families (Symbolic Lines).
This is a simple request - Make Reference Planes available in all views!
