When creating custom shape rebar the ability do pick where the dimension measures from. If I had a rebar shaped like this __/`````````````` I need to be able to specify on a given side where the dimension point is measured from. Just looking at the offset difference there are 9 options (some will gave same value like Out to In = Centre to Centre...) as seen in below sketch.
Currently when creating rebar sometimes the measured dimension is different to to the required dimension
As in the below sketch I need to show the length as 200mm but the family editor will only allow me to go to the center. I need to be able to override this and be able to specify that it is to the outside in this case.
Another example would be a U shaped rebar that measures from outside to outside, and in this regard maybe I want to measure the U rebar with another method listed below:
(1) Centre to Centre
(2) Centre to Out
(3) Centre to In
(4) In to In
This needs to work on all 3 dimension axis XY XZ YZ
