"Area" Parameter within Floor Tag

Currently there is no selection option for floor area when creating a label in a Floor tag family.

Why is this? Seems like an omission to me and should be a no-brainer to implement this.

In response, this request has been addressed in the Revit 2017.

We filled the gaps between tags and schedules.

We added missing parameters in a Floor tag label, such as Area, Perimeter, Thickness or Volume.

We reviewed and corrected tags for other structural elements including walls, beams, columns, roofs, etc.

Thanks for taking the time to submit your idea. Unfortunately, this idea did not get the support of the community over the last 6 months and as such we will not be pursuing it at this time. Please feel free to rework (titles and clear descriptions are really important) and resubmit this one down the road.
