Purged Unused AND Not in Template

Purged Unused AND Not in Template

I want to have the option to purge unused, unless the unused items are on a user-generated list, or what was included in the template. Basically, a way to clean up a file by purging, but not get rid of our office standard families that just haven't been utilized yet.

When you start with a template file, there are a lot of families we put in for potential use, like wall types. I don't want to have to manually uncheck them from the purge unused dialog box every time I'm cleaning up my model.

This is a fantastic idea! I would take it a step further and make it linked to the template, so that any template updates can be pushed to the file, either manually or automatically. Microsoft Word can do this.

After some thought, I guess it is not so hard to purge everything, and then open a template project to 'Transfer Project Standards' the template stuff back in. It's an extra step, but not too cumbersome.
