Project Base Point & Survey Point into Parameter

Project Base Point & Survey Point into Parameter

I wish to be able to read the Project Base Point & Survey Point coordinates (N/S, E/W, Elev, Angle to True North) into a label put in a Title Block or into a family so it would be easier to see these coordinates into the start-up page.

Hi Sophie,

Thank you for giving us the feedback! I'm interested in this idea. Could you please give me more examples of the goal you're going to achieve here? Thank you!

Thanks,

Zhengrong

Hi Zhengrong,

I would use it for exemple, on the Start Page, where every project informations are:

For now, I made parameters into my family but it's not linked to any informations from the model.

Thank you for your return and have a nice day!

You can create a plan view > set Display Model to Do not Display > turn ON PBP > place Spot Coordinate.  Repeat for SP.  These two views will show N, E, EL for PBP and SP.  Create another view and place one North arrow aligned with True North, another Project North, place an angular dimension.  Place all three views on your startup sheet.

Thanks for sharing, @ToanDN !

@sophie_perron Thank you for providing the examples! I see what you mean now. Please let me know if anything else is missing around this. Thanks!

I want to calculate de active height between Survey Point and Project Base Point and use the value inside a parameter of a Family Type. This value must always be correct even when someone change the Z-value of Project Base Point.

As far is I know this is still not possible in R2022.
