@ipselute, yes filled region can be used instead of polyline but this work around is consuming time we need a clear object to draw polyline with corners as in autocad , this option is too easy to implement since it can be found in other autodesk programs why such these simple option are not in revit why can't i have line or poly line which i can get its length in schedule and tag it or access it with API modules
