Take-offs for plumbing/piping are typically taken off in pairs for return/supply or hot/cold. If we are to model these elements accurately this means they are close together which leads to fittings and end of pipes being underneath the branch piping. The current system for breaking the pipe 2D line work only working on the middle of pipe lines. It should work on fittings and the end of pipes. Revit should consider the line created from fittings and pipes to be one line so that it can be broken the same way it does for long runs of pipe.
