I would like the ability to lock model elements in one view only. The idea is if you're doing section or plan detail where you're tracing or drawing over model elements, you won't accidentally select or modify model elements when you're working in 2D.
This would save time primarily when selecting multiple elements via click and drag, I wouldn't need to go to the filter screen to deselect model elements if they were pinned in the view.
The reason that normal pinning doesn't work is because I don't actually want to prevent anyone I'm working with from accessing the model elements, I only want to prevent myself from accessing them.
An alternative would be to add "model elements" as an option of elements to be ignored in the select menu.
