PEX has specific lengths required for attaching fittings. Example: 1/2" PEX can be no shorter than 2" while 3" PEX can be no shorter than 3". I would like to be able to set these lengths so I will always have the minimum length needed for installation purposes. This would cut down on time checking and double checking lengths for accuracy when modeling. It also removes any field issues when installing as lengths would always be at minimum length required to get the job done efficiently. The dimensions can be found in any Plumbing design manual that talks about ProPEX fittings. I have attached a PDF copy as well.
