Revit have "Paste Aligned to Same Place" that works as "paste aligned to orginal coordinates".
Aligned to Same Place: Pastes the elements into the same place from where you cut or copied them.
This option is useful for pasting elements between worksets or design options. Also, you can use it to paste between 2 files that have shared coordinates.
Also, it should let you paste based on Survey Point coordinates or pasted on Project Base Point coordinates.
When you import from some files (like Advance Steel or SDNF, maybe IFC too) the file uses only the project coordinates, even if it number are survey coordinates, for now the option is to move the imported objects manually in Revit or work with WCS in Advance Steel, it is an unnecesary time consuming and tedious task.
