Paste to Multiple Sheets

Paste to Multiple Sheets

Hi,

Revit has a great too Clip board tool that allows you to paste into selected levels, Current view, to same place etc., but doesn't have a n option to  Paste to multiple "Sheets" (Aligned to Selected Sheets) or similar tool.

For example we use Stamps as a detail item or symbol that we would paste on all sheets before issuing them.

See example attached:

You can add it to the titleblock, meaning add it to all sheets. Then add a visibility parameter (visible/not visible) to your object. Then switch the parameter to visible or not visible for the desired sheets.

Yes that is True,  I can add it to title block but sometimes you just need to paste other things that I really dont want to visit the sheets one by one and that's what i am trying to avoid.

Thanks

Not a bad idea. Would be better if extended to 'paste to multiple sheets/views' dependant on which the element was copied in.

... view such as schedules and legends should be handy to be able to paste them to multiple sheets at the same location.

Using 'Aligned to Selected Views' will give you the ability to copy/paste between sheets for details. Unfortunately it doesn't work for legends.

I use this all the time for quickly associating the first revision of a sheet to multiple sheets (Our revisions are sheet-based). Copy and paste the revision cloud to selected sheets quickly gets the right sheets labeled with that first revision.

Correct, it doesn't work for legends. 😞

The idea is to be able to copy/paste Legends/schedules/drafting views to multiple selection of sheets.

There wasn't any reference to Legends. Only asking to copy/paste to selected sheets.

There is already an option to Vote For copying & pasting into Legends:
