One of the most memory intensive things is the revit families. Most of us have a dozen types of doors and when you start a project you are not sure what doors are going to fit all the situations, so most of us have files with doors of different types like a section of home improvement store, and what would be nice is if we could get the drop down replaced with itʻs own ribbon. I know when you load it has a context sensitive ribbon that is a modify, but what I thinking would be useful is if doors when clicked on loads doors with door types. Sliding, swing action, cold door, garage door, and so forth that when you click on them load what each rfa looks like but instead of ten different size indents, the door ribbion at the top lets you set those parametically or shows only the doors that filtered by size, or by clicking a section of wall and hides or greys out the doors that do not fit, and maybe shows the ones that could fit it it was only a little bit bigger of space in yellow background color.
The end result loading less families in the project and only the sizes needed, as well as what you have to sort through is limited by what fits.
