Non Printing Object Styles

Non Printing Object Styles

I have object styles within my families (mainly Furniture/Fittings), that are used as insertion helpers, that I don't want to print. At the moment I switch them off and on in the Model categories using a View Template. Having an Object Style that was is a non printing element, like a non printable layer in AutoCAD would be a huge benefit.

I Know there is the invisible Line, but you have to select the item before you see these lines.

Love this idea! Definitely needed to Titleblock families as well, so we can add guidelines to the actual template - not relying on the Guide Grids alone which are not a great solution to the problem of laying out views on sheets.

This would be great for detail "skeletons", like this, where we have framework lines that we have to turn off before printing.
