it will be great if Revit have new family category for elevators
this family can be edit by users to add symbols for its design in plan and section as manufacturer requirements , machine type , which floors the elevator open and from which side , etc
it should be have the ability to add shared parameters and to be filtered, tagged and schedules as any other family
it will be very good also if it can cut the floor slabs
