Multiple Project Browsers

Multiple Project Browsers

Just as you can open up multiple folders in windows, the capability to open multiple project browsers would make it easier when checking different sheets against each other in larger projects. For example you may wish to check your interior design drawings against your floor plans, there are so many sheets that it is time consuming to scroll up and down constantly, even when you have minimized unnecessary sheets or folders.

Agree with this. Having at least two project browser windows with separate browser organizations would be very helpful in medium to large projects. The blue check box for "placed on a sheet" is a great addition, but please don't stop there.

ABSOLUTELY!!! A separate browser where you have either only sheets or would be identical to the original. Don't care. JUST ADD THE SECOND BROWSER WINDOW PLEASE!!!

With bigger projects it takes ages to scroll up and down between views and sheets.

That way you could have one showing say the views and another showing sheets and work your way swiftly through them. If you work on medium sized projects with about a thousand sheets this would be very helpful.

2025 going on 2026 I could surely use this feature right now.

we need to be able to open multiple project browsers. it is such a pain to either scroll or type every time when switching between drawing views and sheets. thanks

Thankfully 2025 gave us the tabs in the project browser which as I'm getting more used to using them I am finding them more and more helpful to use.

That said, being able to have more than one browser open at a time each with different tabs open could make that even better, but for now if you get used to using the tabs it does really help.  Much less scrolling at least!

Recently switched from Revit 2023 to 2026 and my initial request did not loose sense. And yes: in large projects scrolling up and down slows down and even distractes the users attention of creating meaningful construction projects.

Opening multiple instances of a browser pointing to the same database is'nt a issue for a programmer. In times of AI and vibe coding a lack of such a little feature seems a little embaracing. Over all, it's a question of elegance.

Happy scrolling

I would like to have two separate project browser window in REVIT. Do someone if it is possible and if yes how to do it. I would like to a have one set on the ''view'' thumbnail and the other on the ''sheet'' thumbnail to facilitate moving between sheets and views.
