multi slopes in floor.

multi slopes in floor.

currently while modeling a floor I have two choices to create a sloping floor.

1- use the slope arrow in-floor sketch mode. (ideal)

2- modify elements and manually control the corners/points and change their height.

while the second one is easy, it's not practical and can create weird breakings/zones especially if the floor is not unified (the profile of the floor is unsymmetrical or circular)

using the first method is perfect, however, I can only use one sloping arrow in one direction.

I would love to have the ability to slope my floors in two different directions since this is very common in many projects I worked on, especially while modeling the outdoor slab/path.

+1 This. Also enable ceilings, ramps, floors all the same slope functionality, (ie. multiple slope arrows + multiple slope boundaries + modify element grips) + 90° vertical slopes for steps.  There is no functional reason for them not allowing all of these three. At the moment, we have to use a combination of these 3 different system families + inplace models to create these simple and regular building elements.

Agree with the post and the previous comment.  We know this can work in Revit since roofs allow this function.  Why is it not allowed in other elements?

This Post Deserves an Answer!

It's Spring 2025, and we still CAN NOT SLOPE SIMPLE Six Sided, nor MORE COMPLEX FLOOR SHAPES in more than one direction!!!!

Why IS This so? At least give us an answer; better yet....

We know this can work in Revit "...Since Roofs Allow This Function!

Why is it not allowed in other Surface Elements?

I've spent virtually a whole day trying various work arounds to no avail!!!!
