IMO revit desperately needs a maximise current view and restore views command like is implemented in 3ds max, Rhino, Maya etc.
In addition, an option to be able to bookmark view layouts in a project would be of huge benefit as often depending on tasks you want to see certain views for cross-reference.
The current use of TW and WT is so crude that anytime they are used lots of time is wasted reconfiguring views again that I flinch everytime I use it.
I'm sure others have suggested similar in the past but this is easily my biggest bugbear about Revit.
