Make <Overhead> useful with View Range

Hi Revit team! The <Beyond> and <Hidden> line styles are great as automatic system line styles, but its seems like the <Overhead> style doesn't really have an automatic usage like the others? Revit teams seem to always struggle to show overhead elements and end up using workarounds with Underlay and Linework tools.

Perhaps <Overhead> could be integrated with Plan Regions and their localized View Range so that we can project what is above (similar to how to Underlay, Look Up, functions), so that some things above can show via the <Overhead> style automatically?

Some families use the Overhead lines when above cut plane (view here), like Casework.

But I hope more families can do this, at least the this should be addressed in Visibility/Graphics Overrides.

Samuel that is also a good idea making use of the Top primary range for things using <Overhead>. Top range really does seem obscure in a lot of ways.

I know this thread is old, but nothing has changed since the beginning.

It would be perfect to decide on our own whether object is visible between cut plane and top clip.

But it would be even better to have control on how do components look like when moved over the cut plane, i.e. with Overhead Line.

Of course I can force a family to display as dashed using subcategories or even single overrides, but that is not the way.
