Issue Add In - Elements - Automatic Section box & Find it in the views

In addition to allowing us to search for the Issue directly in Revit using its number (#404 — which is not feasible in version 2023), it would be extremely useful to be able to select the related Issue and automatically generate a Section Box around the element.
(Obviously, if the element belongs to a linked model, notify me, but still allow the Section Box to be created—possibly also correctly oriented.)

A second feature could display, for the element in the host file, the views where it can be found, and possibly also the sheets where it appears, so that those views can be opened and worked on efficiently.

I’m aware that similar commands exist, but none truly accomplish what I’m describing, which I believe would be highly beneficial in workflows where we are not the authors of the models but need to coordinate, update, or perform clash detection.

Currently, I have implemented these functionalities using Dynamo and I am able to perform these tasks, so I believe there are no real limitations to making this workflow a standard feature within the plugin.

I hope this can be useful.
Best regards.

For remarks in a Revit project, we use a Generic Annotation you can place near the issue and write some text about the issue.

Create a Schedule for this Generic Annotation Family. If you want to look up an issue: open the schedule, select the issue and then click Highlight in model and it will take you to that issue.
