task: insert Revit perspective view into photo.

Is there a procedure / workflow (as opposed to trial and error) to insert a Revit perspective view into a photo that shows the existing environment of a proposed building,
e. g. using 3Ds max etc ?
This question is about camera view matching, not about a trial and error approach using Photoshop.
