Hosted Wall Sweep Visibility

I love using hosted sweep feature to add base for elevations, 3d views, etc. We don't want to see this in plan views as it's a real pain to dimension to the face of the wall and deal with making sure we aren't dimensioning to the base. Per my googling of this issue it seems this has not been resolved yet within Revit.

Please add functionality to turn off hosted wall sweeps in Visibility Graphics so we can utilize this feature for elevations and 3D but keep it off in plan.

In wall sweep type, under Identity Data, the sweep type can be assigned to a Wall sub-category. These categories show up under walls in the Vis/Graphics dialogue and can be turned on or off separately.

Am I missing something that stops this working?

@awasyliw by "hosted" wall sweeps the OP is referring to sweeps that are added to the wall structure under the section preview in the type properties.  Revit treats these as an intrinsic part of the wall and ignores the sweeps subcategory settings.
