We really need a fast calculation tool for total concrete area covered by formwork panels. We can find total volume of concrete so easily in Revit, but for the formwork area there is no such tool. We have to manually (and painstakingly) calculate each individual panel surface, then calculate totals by each type, each floor, etc.
That is not too hard to do one time, the problem comes when minute changes occur. It's really tedious to manually modify all values each time the architect comes with plan changes. One simple typing error can give you gigantic problems in quantity estimations.
