Extend wall layer in plan

Extend wall layer in plan

It would be good if wall layers could be extended horizontally in plan as it can be done vertically in section.extend wall layer in plan.png

@Anonymous are you referring to the thickness of a layer?

No not thickness. See image

So To Clarify Looking in plan you want to extend a layer as this screen shot where I have created a wall type to show an extended layer in plan

Wall extend 1.PNG

with similar control methodology as controlling extensions when a wall viewed in sections as this screen shot indicates.

Yes, that is what I mean, to be able to extend a wall layer in plan as it can be done in section by unlocking the layer.

Currently we either need to create another wall type for the wall layers we want to extend and then join them, or - model walls using 3 wall types ie cladding/core/lining

Hi, you can explode the wall by "creating a part" but then obviously your wall is in separate parts
