Exportable Text

I found that Revit offers no way to schedule the parameter 'Text' of generic models. Change that. Currently I need to export the content of 3D texts with room number and room name into a schedule because the generics know nothing about their content which is a little too consise for my IFC files. Allow parameter 'Text' of model text to be scheduled. Found this in Revit 2025.4. Will now make a pyrevit script that copies the Text over to Comments and export that.

Interesting that none of the values for model text made in the project environment can have global parameters assigned to them.

If the model text is created in a generic model family all those things can be associated to parameters which could then be scheduled.
