The industry is still requiring many of our drawings to be issued in both PDF and DWG format. However, when we export in .dwg format we have to manually name the files which is very time consuming.
The PDF naming feature which came in a few versions ago needs to be replicated for the .dwg export function so that dwgs can be automaticvally named by a range of parameters, including the project's number, drawing name, drawing number, revision numbers etc. It would also be useful for the DWG & PDF export windows to be combined so you can tick if you want PDF and/or DWG exports for each drawing / view.
Possibility to configurate the name of file exported as 'dwg' the same way as 'pdf' exports. with sheet settings? For example, to name my pdf files I configured:
-prefix: 'DET' 'sheet number' separator ' - '
- 'sheet name'
- prefix: '_IND' 'current revision'
what gives me for example, for a sheet number: 01; name: mass plan; index: A:
'DET 01 - mass plan_IND A' without needing to update the index, prefix etc.

@JörgSchuster, please remember to search before posting. Good rule of thumb is "speak like caveman", i.e. less is more. I searched "filename dwg export" and easily found the above idea.
The PDF Export dialog also has a much nicer UI where you can search which sheets should be included in a set. It seems that internally the sets are the same for DWG export as well, but the UI of the DWG Export dialog is just horrible. These two should use the same UI or even better merge the two into one where you could export DWG and PDF at the same time.
