In Revit 2025, you can copy a linked cad file to a new location but in order to change that copy to show a different cad file, you need to delete it and link a new one. I would find it helpful if you could right click any link and hit Reload From... and pick a new file. So far only Revit links/model groups allow that and even they do not offer that inside the context menu inside the modelling window only in their project browser counterparts.
