Enable Revit to gather project information from cloud host

When setting up a new project on B360 Docs, users enter all kind of information like project name, maybe a number, a location perhaps. The basic stats you may call them. Then you continue to setup cloud work-shared Revit files and need to enter all of these pieces of info again.

The idea would be to allow for something like {B360.Parametername} to be entered into the Revit project information to make it gather these little nuggets that are already there.

@autodesk Feel free to transfer this idea to whatever forum you see fit - except ACC, please.

@MiWolff, why would this not be pertinent to ACC?  I think this would be a wonderful idea for ACC to have this functionality.  In this way all pertinent project information could be put into the ACC project data.  Perhaps using attributes?  I don't know.  And then that information could be pulled from the cloud into the Revit project file by all of the players (architect, mep engineer, structural engineer, etc.)

You are aware that although they are not going to take away BIM360 anytime soon, that all newly created functionality is being put into the ACC platform and not BIM360?  Are you not using ACC?

@Ric_Weber You are right, I should not have put that comment about ACC into my original idea post. I was probably just finding that I was in need of the split view mode or had just tried to invite somebody without a BC licence into a project prior to posting.

Access cloud data from within Revit. Make Revit parameters read cloud values. Put this comment here, because I just had a hard time finding my old post again.
