We desperately need an electrical duct system to model busduct and duct banks. Currently everyone uses mechanical duct or cable tray but that can make for extra work when making views. Also the BIM properties are not accurate.
Currently we use a panel that is stretched so we can simulate a plug in busway, but only gets us so far. Having a proper busduct/busway and duct bank system would be beneficial. Ideally it would allow us to have load flow through it (from equipment [e.g. switchboard] to equipment [e.g. panelboard]) and connections along the way just like plug-in busway allows.
This has been needed for so long. I've created families to try and circumvent this, but not having a full "system" and just using individual straight runs and bends causes so many issues when changes are required.
