I just found that if you add data to a long list of parameters (as required by NBS, customers, company standards etc.), you have to apply these changes every time you enter a value. Otherwise entering one wrong value, like entering text where a number is required (how were you to know?), will reset all proper values you had entered before. Even if the other values came from a key value schedule. Even if they were correct.
I found this in Revit 2022.1. Perhaps this behaviour has changed in more recent versions of the piece. The idea is to have the UI check parameters individually and save values that are appropriate.
