In Revit, it is often necessary to place two views on top of each other on a plan. (For example: Representations of hidden edges, surfaces, and spaces simultaneously on a plan).
In Revit, this workflow is easy to implement, but when exporting to DWG, they are displayed correctly in the layout, but in the model area, they are shown side by side.
It can be helpful in some situations, but in my case, hundreds of plans in many buildings of the global operations need to be manually corrected with each update. To then be able to pass on the correct information to project participants.
Proposed solution:
Autodesk has a feature in the programming that recognizes if the views overlap, what size they are, and places them next to each other. Therefore, it would be easy to activate or deactivate this "part" in the export settings using a "yes/no query." This would be a small matter for me and my major clients that could save a lot of time and costs as well as improve the quality of DWG delivery.
