Revit should have a toggled and adjustable document-wide grid snapping resolution setting (like AutoCAD's SNAPGRID or Illustrator’s grid snapping). I'm working on details and I dont need things to be drawn to 1/256 of an inch, with most details consisting of straight lines. If there was a hidden document grid (with a snap) then you can move things slightly very easily.
