It is standard drafting practice to have a dimension string showing the relationship of an object beyond the matchline. See attached image. Currently in a dependent view, the dimension string of anything selected beyond the view is hidden. I don't want to change the behavior of the view or annotations crops but have the ability to adjust the string to suit my needs. Would like dimension leaders to be disconnect-able but retain the information and relationship with the object with an arrow selection option rather than using detail lines and text to fake it.
