What I am suggesting is a "window family" that acts like a window family that you can place like a window, not placing a embedded curtain wall packed with window panes into a wall because that is definitely not practical in residential projects.
We have this wonderful and powerful family called curtain walls but we don't leverage the power behind it for any other families. Example: I use curtain wall families for all of my cabinetry as its the easiest way to create custom cabinetry and this includes anything from doors, drawers, shelves to wall ovens and dishwashers etc etc. I would also put this idea forward as a dedicated way of doing cabinetry, but let's see if anyone votes for the window editor before going for a more advanced idea 😉
