Creat Multiple Dependent Views at once

There are already several good ideas for improvements to how dependent views are created organized and handled. What I am suggesting is the smallest first step; allow us to create more than one dependent view at a time. When you right click on the view and select "Duplicate as Dependent" we need an option or dialogue to ask how many we want to create.

 

We use dependent views to split the model over multiple sheets so we are ALWAYS going to want more than one. And for larger projects we can me making 10 or more. That's extremely cumbersome when you are doing it for multiple levels and plan types. Letting it create View-copy1, View-copy2, … etc. all in one action would make this SO much more efficient.

 

Advanced options for creation and naming could eventually be added to this functionality, but I will take the efficiency improvement for now.

This, together with allowing scope boxes to be non-rectangular, would save so much work!

Apologies if i misinterpreted, But if you duplicate a parent view as a dependant and then right click on the parent view and click "apple dependant views" does this solve your problem? See below for the pop up screen shot:
