There should be the possibility to have a live family database for multiple project files. In projects with multiple similar buildings, divided into multiple Revit files, it is hard to automatize working with Revit Families. There should be a way that updating a family into one project, updates it into all other selected projects, so that everybody works with the same set of families.
Why this would be useful:
- checking correct families are used in correct places (if naming is different this is a lot harder).
- adding classification parameters to a family once, instead of many times in each project.
- automatization of Type Marks & other parameters with DiRoots (for example), where family naming needs to be consistent.
