I wish Revit had a command line interface, like AutoCAD. To be clear I've been using both Revit and AutoCAD for over 10+ years and am proficient in both, so I'm not complaining about Revit just because I'm used to CAD, etc. But navigating AutoCAD's interface is significantly faster than Revit. The few Revit functions that have default keyboard shortcuts are great, I can't complain about how those work - but most functions don't have a shortcut and some really simple operations take way too many clicks. The ability to assign shortcuts isn't particularly useful, reassigning shortcuts everytime I'm at a new machine is annoying and the two letter shortcut is too limiting. Relative to CAD Revit's interface seems like a step backwards, if the goal is efficiency.
