The new Topo Solids are inaccurate, inefficient, and produce very poor graphics. Editing a single point on a 15 acre site takes 10-15 seconds and you can't see the resulting change in topography until exiting the edit mode. The triangulation between points creates big errors, especially at the toes and crests of slopes. Adding new points to correct errors tends to create other errors elsewhere. The graphics create rough, jagged edges which can't be presented to clients and introduce errors in the contours of the surface. Topo solids also greatly increase 3D view regeneration time when dealing with large sites with thousands of points.
Please bring back topo surfaces (maybe as an "add-in" patch?) and let users decide which element, topo solids or topo surfaces, to use in their models.
